
Gem Hunter
The player takes the role of Noel the mole. They must search for gems and identify their shapes in order to earn more gold and buy upgraded equipment to dig deeper and find all of the hidden gems!


My Role:
Asset Creation | Animation | Prototyping | Game Development
Through this project I got to explore creating tiled and repeating assets, as well as using layers in Unity to swap out assets whilst retaining the same sprite sheet animation. I designed the gems around the educational curriculum so that the players could identify the shape of the gems to learn 2D shapes in a fun and innovative way.
