Survival VR Game
Concept
Working with Historic Royal Palaces to create a concept for a mixed reality location based experience bringing history to life in a historicrical setting through VR on the Meta Quest 3.
Taking the role of a Lady in Waiting, the player experiences the last two weeks of Queen Jane Seymour's life - learning of her life and aspirations as well as of the historic events of that time including the English Reformation, the Dissolution of the Monasteries and life during the reign of Henry the VIII

My Role:
Lead Design | Narrative Design | Level Design
Using our prototype of Augmented Heritage as a springboard, this project involved in-depth design thinking into audience flow and multiple audience participation, potentially without networking and how we could deliver an impactful experience with this in consideration. Interactions would be carried out via hand tracking and the audience would follow a linear narrative path accompanied by some un-authored content to keep the experience fresh and variable. I learned a lot about designing location based experiences through this project, as well as about the history of the Tudors and Queen Jane Seymour!
